Limitations imposed by Covid-19 sped up the move towards online and telephone counselling. What was once dismissed as unsuitable has proved to be just as effective for some as meeting in-person. Many of my clients have chosen to continue meeting online because it works so well – with decent WIFI it can feel as if we are in the same room together, but with the convenience of not having to leave your sofa. Some clients even feel it is easier to open up from the safety of their own home, online or over the telephone.
